Monica Acosta returns to Tsitsit with her beautiful and haunting evening of Ladino music: 'Sephardic Songs.' With Ilana Cravitz (violin), Steve Homes (guitar) and Antonio Romero (percussion).

Sephardic songs were born in the home environment where women expressed their joys, hopes and challenges. Issues regarding motherhood and family relationships were important subjects preserved in song.

The concert will include beautiful and moving melodies, some of which present the dialogue between mothers and daughters. In these songs both characters communicate their expectations and challenges in love, adult life and marriage.
